Member of parliament for the Krowor constituency and minister of fisheries and aquaculture, hon. Elizabeth Afoley Quaye has boycotted the constituency debate Organised by the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Krowor constituency.
The debate which is being organized in all the constituencies across the country by the NCCE is to deepen and decentralize our democracy as well as strengthen our institutions.
The program which was held at the church of Pentecost , Agnes Boahemaa Gyimah Temple in Nungua was heavily attended by stakeholders from all walks of lives.
The debate which was expected to bring out ideas and policies geared at the development of krowor was boycotted by the sitting MP to the surprise of the teeming constituents.
No reason was given for her absence after she confirmed participation to the organizers of the debate. It would be recalled that she boycotted same event in 2016 organized by the NCCE.
