Akufo Addo led government bragged of its infrastructure development in a town hall meeting with four months left in office.
Mahamudu Bawumia at a town hall meeting said the government has started 17,334 projects and completed 8,746 of them in its first term.
According to Dr Bawumia no government in the history of Ghana’s fourth republic has initiated more infrastructural projects than the Akufo-Addo government.
“The investment in infrastructure by the NPP government over the last three years has been massive. I dare say our investment in infrastructure, our infrastructure record is second to none for any government in its first term under the Fourth Republic,” Dr Bawumia stated.
Dr Bawumia with all due respect, If Ghanaians voted against commissioning of major infrastructure in 2016, do you think they will vote for sod-cutting,a phantom promise in less than four months to election?”
“How can a Government with less than four months left in office show infrastructure record in a town hall meeting? This is what happens when your year of roads is touted with a sod cutting of 26km road. A performance driven Government commissions roads and infrastructure projects with 4 months to the end of your term not another round of empty lectures and town hall meetings dubbed results fair.
“Are you not ashamed of your 1 village 1 dugout, reshaping and regravelling and your one seater toilets?
“Talk is cheap. The toilets, boreholes, reshaping and school blocks that Ghanaians took for granted are now your superior achievements? So, what will the superior record of an Assemblyman look like? We are Doomed indeed.
Dr Bawumia my able Veep you never commented on GDP, Cedi depreciation and most importantly the Economy. Are you now running away from your own shadows?
Hmmm from Dr of Economics to Dr of phantom infrastructure lectures,
TIME in deed is really catching up with your lies.
Today the social media and computer age you can’t lie to Ghanaians anymore. The truth is just like your nose close to your eyes with the power of the internet and social media.
I am amazed the way the truth is unfolding after your lectures. you and your government should be worried by now.
The least said, the better we are in trouble for voting you and your government in power, but the correction is just few days to come.
We the youth of this country will vote you and your gorvenment out and wait for your accountability when you were in office.
This is just the beginning but remember you will account to the good people of Ghana after December 7
