Local News

The market women and traders of Awutu Bawjiase market are highly disappointed in their MP and DCE over unfulfilled campaign promises, we shall vote against the MP come 2020 elections.

Following the deplorable and the bad state of their Market, traders of Awutu Bawjiase and its environs have noted that they are highly disappointed in their MP Hon. George Andah who doubles as the deputy communication minister and  DCE Hon. Stephen Kwame Quaye for failure to fix the Bawjiase Market hence describing them as radio-TV talkative who brag as if they have brought Heaven to the area which is never the case.

The market women are pleading to the government to come to their aid with the help of market Construction, toilet facilities, security’ and others to alleviate the suffering of the people.

The aggrieved market women in an interview with SOKY NEWS’ Evans Darko hinted that their MP and DCE are supper incompetent hence the failure because the previous administration started the construction of the market but Hon. George Andah has decided not to continue.

The market women bemoaned that, foodstuffs such as tomatoes, plantain, yam, cassava, garden eggs, fish, onion, and others are being put on the bare floor since the market left without construction.
We shall organize a massive demonstration against the mp and DCE if they refused to fix the market in the next few months.
