Information gathered by SOKY NEWS is that, a group called Ambassadors Against Mob Justice are preparing to sue a landlord Mr. Agbawa Kwame and wife, Madam Joyce Arkoh for assaulting Mr. Prosper Gomashie and wife Celestina Norvieku who happens to be their tenants.

According to our source at Achiaman a suburb of Amasaman where the incident happened, the land lady, Madam Arkoh had a misunderstanding with Prosper whose wife was gone to the market to trade when Madam Arkoh called some thugs to beat Prosper to comma.

Upon the arrival of Celestina who tried to save her dying husband, the thugs descended on her and beat her up too till she started bleeding from her private part.

The case was then reported at the Amasaman Police station under the able command of Superintendent Fred Mensah.

After a huge consultation and plead, the case was withdrawn to be settled by the traditional rulers of the land.

Before the chief and elders of the community, the landlord Mr. Agbawa Kwame and wife, Madam Joyce Arkoh pleaded guilty and was asked to pay the initial expenses made by the tenants which is GHS 950.00 and a compensation of GHS 3,000.00 which they agreed to pay.

Our source added that, the assembly member of that area  joined hands with the landlord to disrespect the rulings of the chief and elders claiming the Ambassadors Against Mob Justice who  are fighting for justice for the victims has connive with the victims and the police to defraud the suspects by claiming  GHS 950.00 as expenses.

This according to our source  made the chief and elders angry for the gross disrespect showed by the suspects and has agreed with the Ambassadors to seek justices at the law court since the suspects are not ready to comply with their rulings.

Speaking to SOKY NEWS the president of  Ambassadors Against Mob Justice, Mrs Gifty Abban said, all they seek is  justice, therefore they will keep supporting the victims financially for their hospital bill till justice prevails.

She then advised the general public not to put the laws into their own hands when they are offended but must always go to the appropriate quarters to report their offenders for the law to take it course.
