General Overseer of Light Of the Cross Chapel, Rev. Mrs Ethel Esi Bansah has called on the president of the Republic of Ghana, HE. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo not to pitch camp at one religious group but be a father for all.
According to her, there is the need for the president to give recognition to all the religious bodies in the country as a leader, to maintain the peace and tranquillity among the citizenry.
Rev. Mrs Bansah who has been in full-time ministry since 1986 entreated all Ghanaians to always dwell upon Matthew 11: 28 as their companion.
28 Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
“Though David was not allowed build God’s temple himself, he helped to gather materials and prepare the plan for the temple’s construction.
He said to Solomon, “I have taken great pains to provide for the temple of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, quantities of bronze and iron too great to be weighed, wood and stones.
You have many workers: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as those skilled in every kind of work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, craftsmen beyond number.
Now begin the work, and the Lord be with you” she said.
She concluded by saying that, it is the duty of every president/leader to be ever ready to give the necessary assistance when called upon.
