Students back to school

We are happy to report back to school, some finalists of tertiary institutions admit

Some final year students of some tertiary institutions in Ghana have expressed their gratitude to the government’s decision to recall them back to school.

Speaking to the press some of the students said they were anxious to come back to school to complete their final examination.

Talking about the precautions putting in place by the various school to combat the spread of the deadly coronavirus, some of the students applauded their authorities whiles students of different school were not satisfied with the kind of preparation the institutions have made.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 11th update on the pandemic ordered the various tertiary institutions to reopen, which took effect from today Monday 15th June, 2020.

The final year students are expected to write their final examination, whiles the other students continue with the academic calendar, observing the various Covid 19 protocols.

Meanwhile, the Pro-Vice chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Prof. Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey has said that they are not expecting most of the students to return to campus.

According to him, about 14,000 students have successfully finished with their end of semester examination through the online system they used to lecture the students during the lockdown period.
