Prime Minister Ofori Atta announced Monday’s mid-term review of the 2023 budget, saying the government would continue to push for social protection programmes to protect the vulnerable and disadvantaged.

“Under LEAP, the government disbursed a total of GH 169.95 million to 346,019 households and 1,533,748 people in June 2023. to 64.00 Giga and for two-person households from 38.00 Giga to 76.00 Giga.The goal for the duration of this programme is to reach approximately 8% of the population, or 2.5 million inhabitants.
