One of Ghana’s finest veteran actors, Mr. Abeiku Nyame, popularly know as Jagger Pee says Socrate Safo the producer of the controversial movie “hot fork” was the first producer to use in his movie when he (Jagger Pee) came back from Prison.
Speaking to SOKY NEWS, Jagger Pee said most of the popular producers he worked with before going to prison vowed never to cast him in their movies again but Socrate told him he will cast him because the fact that he has been in prison does not mean he is no more good as they all knew him to be.
According to him, his first movie when he came out of prison was “THE COVENANT”, produced by Socrate Safo.
He added that, after Socrate used him in his movie, Moro Yaro also used him in his movies, “A STAB IN THE DARK”, and “RIPPLES 1,2,&3”.
On January 9, 1995, Jagger Pee was in the company of Nana Agyeman and two other ladies when the latter shot and killed a taxi driver over a fare misunderstanding.
Jagger Pee spent 32 months in prison.
His friend, Nana Agyeman also known as Geeman spent 14 years in prison half of which was on death row. He was later released on January 9, 2009 on presidential pardon from former President, John Agyekum Kufuor.
Jagger Pee advised the general public to draw people from prison to close because being in prison does not mean the person is a criminal.
“There are soo many good and innocent people there in prison. My cell mate draw the plan of my house when I was in prison” he futher stated.
